Next meeting agenda: Collaboration with other ATFs, especially Art, Photography, Computing and perhaps Theatre Arts, Technology, and Media. ATF would like a 15 minute presentation by Tucson Industry Leaders (one of six fields) on Future of the Discipline and Trends (could be pre-recorded)as well as Curriculum Design discussion with K-12/Dual Enrollment HS administrators (identify student skillsets essential to career success).
Include small business management skills, especially Accounting, Business, and Marketing. Future ATFs: Voted unanimously to continue to meet every year face-to-face with telephone or skype connection to accommodate those unable to travel. They also would prefer a 1-2 day intensive ATF Conference in one central location with joint sessions to support collaboration and sharing of ideas. Voting results: 9 yes, 2 abstain. |
