The following motions were approved:
That NAU will revisit its policies for credit on the AP Language exams foro FRE, GER & SPA, with attention to giving credits above 202, to be in sync with ASU and UA. That the language departments at our institutions consider fiving credit through the end of the second year for a score of 5 or above on the International Baccalaureate HL exam for the following languages FRE, GER, LAT and SPA; Score of 4 would be worth 8 credits (101 and 102) A score of 5 or above would earn -- credits (201 and 202) |

The following questions will be posed to the Admissions and Records ATF:
1. What happens to the student who transfers with the AP exam on their transcript? 2. How would the process work if NAU were to change the credit award? 3. Are the universities able to revisit the policy to only offer credits for the HL exam? 4. LATF would like to know the number of IB students, number of IB scores, subject areas, and types of exams (both HL and SL) that have come in over the past 5 years. Also, what were the student scores on those subject area exams? |
