Provisional Structured English Immersion (SEI) required as a new Common Course by UofA and NAU.
UofA is discontinuing some Secondary Education majors at undergraduate level: English, History, Languages, Political Science, and Social Studies. In addition, the UofA is discontinuing Physical Education. As of 2011, Physical Education track unavailable: Remove from CCM now since UofA is no longer accepting students and add Note to matrix:UofA: eliminate Secondary Education Physical Education (effective Fall 2009). |

* ASU considering changing TEL212 to TEL230 in the future (SpEd CEG).
* ASU Education has consolidated into the new College of Teacher Education and Leadership, effective fall 2009. * Education ATF may consider a cluster meeting with Science and Mathematics ATFs for spring 2011, to spend 30-45 minutes as a group discussing shared issues. * Dick Heimann shared that Northland Pioneer College welcomed an HLC team for their 10-year reaccreditation on-site visit last spring. The final report is pending. * Yavapai and NAU announced that Prescott Valley has been selected by ABOR as the site for the "First Regional University" in the state of Arizona with an estimated opening date of fall 2010. Four-year programs will include: Sustainability, Business Entrepreneurship, Allied Health Leadership, and others. * Cochise has established a 71 + 49 TAG agreement. * ASU offers Curriculum Check sheets at: http://ctel.asu.edu/node/409 . * Ann Huber thanked the ATF members for the lively, collegial, student-centered discussion.
