Additional Comment/ Discussion Items : Effective Fall 2010 ASUs revised CIS 105 course will be implemented by W.P Carey at ASU. All existing equivalencies to CIS 105 will be retired. Equivalencies to other ASU courses will be retained for unchanged CC courses.

Colleges wishing to articulate with ASUs modified CIS 105 course must submit through ACETS for a new evaluation. An ASU course syllabus with a detailed topic list was distributed at the CIS ATF in October 09 and is attached.

POST ATF update: Courtesy extension W. P. Carey has agreed to accept existing versions of CIS 105 equivalencies in lieu of the revised course for students who have completed the CIS 105 equivalent by the end of Fall 2010. This will be reflected in the CEG. All students who complete the course in Sp 2011 and beyond must take coursework equivalent to the revised ASU course to get credit for ASUs revised CIS 105. Only courses articulated and evaluated through ACETS as equivalent to the revised CIS 105 be equivalent in the CEG for Spring 2011 and beyond.
