Agenda V.A. (1)Common Outcomes will be determined for less common languages found on the matrix (CHN, JAP, RUS, ARB).
V.A. (2) Those drafting common outcomes for CHN, JAP, RUS, & ARB will use existing guidelines to develop outcomes. It was also approved to complete by February and bring the CHN, JAP, RUS, and ARB outcomes to Feb. ATF to determine common outcomes. V.B. It was approved that French and Spanish cut off scores and existing cut off scores from UA web site would be used to help finalize cut off scores by Feb meeting for CHN and ITL. V.D. It was approved that Xia would spearhead validating Chinese cut off scores for AP exam by looking at existing cut off scores from UA web site and working with colleagues. V. I. it was approved that AWC should require a proficiency exam as part of the their ASL Certificate, to match their requirements for their Spanish Proficiency Certificate. |

Some links at Languages ATF portal do not connect. Other links are missing from the new site that were on the old CAS site. The following is a list of missing links:
Outcomes for Less Commonly Taught languages Outcomes for American Sign Language Criteria for demonstrating proficiency CLEP score chart Verification of Language Proficiency form. NAU's language courses are 4 credits, while other colleges are 5 credits. This will be handled with a foot note in common course matrix (per Mike Hensley). |
