* ASU - Students must take both GEO101 and GEO102 transfer to ASU as equivalent to GCU121[SB,G] plus two DEC(GCU) credits.
** ASU - Students must take both GCU121 and GCU122 to transfer as equivalent to GCU121 [SB,G] plus 2 DEC(GCU) credits.
*** ASU - Students must take both GEO101 and GEO102 to transfer as GPH111 [SQ/SG] plus four (4) DEC(GPH) credits.
**** NAU - NAU's GSP375 Community and Global Analysis is now a Junior Level Writing course for Geography majors. Community College courses listed here will continue to satisfy the cultural/human geography requirement, but will transfer at the lower division and will NOT satisfy the Junior Level Writing requirement. Students who transfer this course into any Geography majors will need to select an alternative Junior Level Writing course at NAU.
***** NAU, UA - TOCC's GEO103 is not a direct equivalent at NAU and UA. Students may have to take the required university course upon transfer. NAU – NAU’s GGR370 Cultural Geography is now a Junior Level Writing course for Geography majors. Community college courses listed here will continue to satisfy the cultural/human geography requirement, but will transfer at the lower division and will NOT satisfy the Junior Level Writing requirement. Students who transfer this course into any Geography majors will need to select an alternative Junior Level Writing course at NAU.
