Scottsdale Community College

Administration of justice majors study the causes and consequences of crime and the role of criminal justice agencies in controlling it. In this discipline, students will study:

  • The criminal justice system including prisons and corrections, courts, probation, law enforcement agencies, and juvenile justice systems.
  • Crime and justice as it applies to specific populations including juveniles, women, and diverse ethnic groups.
  • Patterns and causes of crime in global issues such as immigration, border security, terrorism, and environmental crime.
