Nutrition Major Guide 2024-2025

Pima Community College

Nutrition majors study all things food! From food and nutrition management to nutrition communication to food studies, a nutrition major opens doors for students to pursue careers in the food, health care, and wellness industries. Nutrition majors complete coursework that covers the scientific method, statistics, nutrition, food production, food marketing, and more. With a bachelor's degree, nutrition students may also pursue graduate study in dentistry, nursing, physical therapy, and more. Another option is a dietetics concentration which prepares students to become registered dietitians through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
