Sociology majors study human social interaction in different groups, organizations, regions, and nations of the world. Students will examine society and its origins, functions, as well as issues like crime, social inequality, politics, education, medicine, culture, and population, to name a few. Coursework in written communication, statistics, and research round out the degree program. Graduates are prepared for many different career fields including social justice advocacy, healthcare, criminal and civil justice, business, technology.
